PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To perform general day to day tasks associated with the department.
 
 
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Removal of Grass and Debris around Settler, Filter & Ponds
  • Assistance with all repairs of Effluent Ponds
  • Filling up chemicals for Water Plant
  • Restarting of tripped pumps at Waste Water Ponds.
  • General water plant housekeeping.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks given by the superior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE                                                                     

  • Grade 10 (NQF2)
  • Two (2) years working experience in a Water Treatment Plant
  • Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous
  • Namibian citizen
  • Must be able to work shifts, weekends, overtime and on public holidays

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


▪️The primary purpose of this position is to assist road users in completing relevant documentation, ensure correct levies are paid for relevant vehicles, receive and verify payment and to provide a service to road users.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:


▪️Verify the information on Cross Border    Charges (CBC) application forms for CBC and Mass Distance Charges (MDC) (foreign registered vehicles) customers.

▪️Provide foreign registered road users with information on RFA payments and procedures.

▪️Issue CBC permits to foreign registered road users as per RFA policy and procedures.

▪️Perform cash up and reconciliation procedures with Supervisor.

Customer service.


EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:


▪️Minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience.

▪️Customer service, logistics and transport will be an advantage.

▪️Good numerical and administrative skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Honesty and integrity.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :


▪️Grade 12 (with a minimum of 20 points).

▪️Proficiency in Afrikaans language will be an added advantage.
