Driver
Location: Windhoek
Skills and Qualifications:
• At least a valid Grade 10 certificate
• Minimum 2-3 applied years of experience
• Code C1 driver’s license with a valid PDP (Code CE driver’s license will serve as an advantage)
• Police clearance certificate(not older than 3 months)
Job Duties:
• Ensure safe and secure handling and delivery of consignments
• Handling of fuel management and ensuring all procedures regarding refueling
• Adhere to road safety regulations
• Adhere to the health and safety regulations of the company
• Be present at the time of loading in order to verify the freight loaded to the paperwork received
• Basic vehicle checks/maintenance (oil, water, tyres, etc)
• Responsible for notifying supervisor/manager of any defaults/deviations on the vehicles
• Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a local delivery driver.
