📌 Position Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Services Lead to lead and coordinate the delivery of HR services across the Group.

The successful candidate will provide employee-centred, business-focused, legislatively compliant, technology-enabled, and data-driven HR solutions, while driving engagement, trust, and capability building within the HR Services team and across the wider organisation.


🎯 Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities

👥 Employee Advocacy & Experience

  • Lead the delivery of employee-centred HR services across the Group

  • Coordinate and resolve complex employee and management queries

  • Monitor employee experience trends and implement service improvements

  • Ensure HR interactions reflect Group values and engagement standards

  • Strengthen employee trust and engagement


⚙️ Service Delivery & Execution

  • Oversee Group-wide HR services across the full employee life cycle

  • Allocate and coordinate work across HR Generalists for efficient service delivery

  • Resolve escalated HR cases

  • Align HR service delivery with business requirements

  • Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement


📜 Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour legislation and standards

  • Maintain and improve HR procedures, documentation, and governance frameworks

  • Ensure accurate HR data management and record-keeping

  • Identify compliance gaps, manage risks, and implement corrective actions

  • Support internal and external audits


💻 Technology & HR Analytics

  • Drive effective use of HR systems and digital platforms

  • Ensure integrity and timeliness of HR data and lifecycle transactions

  • Produce HR service metrics and insights for decision-making

  • Support HR system enhancements and digital improvements

  • Use data trends to anticipate service needs and scalable solutions


🌱 Engagement & Capability Building

  • Build capability within the HR Services team

  • Promote knowledge-sharing and consistent HR practices across the Group

  • Strengthen team engagement and a service-driven HR culture

  • Support and enable Group HR initiatives

  • Enhance HR capability across the organisation


🎓 Minimum Requirements

📚 Education

  • NQF Level 8: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Behavioural Sciences, or Law
    OR

  • NQF Level 4 or 5 with Professional HR Certificates AND

    • More than 8 years’ experience strictly in Human Resources Management

    • Extensive HR services oversight and senior-level business reporting experience


🧠 Work Experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience

  • At least 5 years within a Human Resources Department

  • Minimum 2 years at a supervisory level

  • Experience in the Logistics industry will be an added advantage


📝 Other Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Namibian Labour Legislation

  • Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
