The successful candidate will be expected to provide extraordinary client-centric professional services to internal and external stakeholders. As a front-facing employee, you will enhance the company’s reputation through excellent telephone etiquette and adherence to company procedures and protocols. You will be responsible for the timely, friendly, and accurate operation of the switchboard and housekeeping of the office. Furthermore, you will monitor and order office supplies, collate and assemble documents, and arrange refreshments for internal and external meetings. You must possess a service-oriented mindset and good communication and interpersonal skills to succeed in this role. Proactivity and initiative-taking are paramount in this role to ensure imperatives are met. The incumbent’s success will hinge on resilience, experience with HR matters, a problem-solving mindset, and detailed planning abilities. You will find the position stimulating if you want professional growth in the HR Industry. This position is a good fit for a mature, grounded, and stable individual who can identify with the culture and ethos of the organisation.


Key areas of focus:
• Administration within the recruitment department.
• Liaise with all stakeholders and resolve all HR administrative matters.
• Drive employee engagement within the business.
• Assist with the external recruitment process.
• Operating and managing the switchboard and telephone system.
• Speedy, friendly, and accurate operation of the switchboard, which includes answering phone calls, transferring calls to designated extensions, and taking and relaying messages for/to individual staff.
• Timely updates of the company’s phone and speed dial lists.
• Welcoming walk-in and external clients.
• General office management.
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

Minimum requirements:
• A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent
• 3-5 years experience in reception, switchboard, or general administration roles
• General understanding of the Namibian Labour Legislation.
• Robust appreciation for and understanding of excellent client service
• Excellent administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Driver’s license and own transport
• English proficiency
• Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Namibian citizenship
