Job Purpose
To actively market and sell financial services products offered by the Insurance portfolio company.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be accountable and responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide strategic advice on financial products and services offered by the Insurer;
- Network, generate leads and grab opportunities to sell financial products;
- Keep abreast of new industry trends and markets to back up financial consulting;
- Responsible for all aspects of client relationships and working closely with clients to fully understand their individual financial profile;
- Liaise with Service Providers;
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations;
- Comprehensive reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Candidate Profile:
- Self-starter with good administrative skills;
- Target driven;
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply;

Qualifications and Experience
- At least five (5) years of proven working experience as a Financial Advisor;
- Registration Certificate with Namfisa as a Long-term Agent or Broker will be an added advantage;
- Fluency in English;
- Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- A minimum requirement to be considered as a possible shortlisted candidate for the vacant position will be that the applicant must successfully pass the “Trustco
Group Integrated Annual Reports Test” which will consist of multiple-choice questions from the annual report of the group and its segments.
