Opportunity | Duty Description
The Human Resources and Development Officer (HRDO) will be responsible for Staff Hiring & Recruitment, Staff Development, Staff Performance and Remunerations, Staff Ethics, Conduct and Discipline, Staff Welfare and all other human resources related functions. The HRDO will oversees HRD functions based on an understanding of NIT’s Staff and Manager’s Codes of Conduct and their application in terms of the Staff Disciplinary Policy and procedures and all other institutional policies and procedures. The HRD effectively uses and implements Staff and Manager’s Codes of Conduct policies and procedures on every area of his/her daily functions for professional guidance, consistence in decision making and judgment when dealing with staff matters. The HRDO is responsible for advising management and recommending policy changes related to the HR and the Labor Act.
