In this position you will be working on a team of engineers focused on upgrading our client's OneShield suite of applications
Responsibilities In this role the candidate will be responsible for performing analyses of technical and business processes; building and managing code using standard defined specifications, conducting unit testing, and managing training and deployment. Maintenance and development of applications using OneShield Dragon Designer Tool. Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns Designing & deploying insurance products, workflows, actions, business rules, rating, forms mapping using Dragon toolset. Desired Experience Strong OneShield background with 5+ years' experience in UI, Workflow, Rating, Forms and Transformations. Knowledge and experience on OneShield Middle tier and/or Java technologies is an added advantage. Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and perform impact analysis for development/enhancement. Development and maintenance of applications using OneShield Dragon Designer 6.0. Self-motivated with an ability to work in cross platform technologies. Exposure to Agile based methodologies will be a plus. Should be a strong team player to lead and cross train their skills with others. Exposure to PL/SQL, web services and Java is a value add. Exposure to source control tools and CI/CD processes is a value add. Must have excellent communication skills. Surety experience would be ideal since we will be upgrading our Surety platform Job Type: Contract Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: OneShield: 5 years (Required) Java Technologies: 5 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
