Above mentioned position is vacant at our Jet-X Couriers Windhoek Prosperita Depot. The F.P du Toit Transport Group is in existence since 1968 and diversified over time from a solely longhaul operation to one which now includes Jet-X Couriers (an express road and air courier service) Pro Parcel (a part-load distribution operation), and as well as Wesbank Transport (our newly acquired full-load and abnormal division). This is in line with our strategy to offer our clients a complete range of services to satisfy all their logistical requirements. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is based in Windhoek.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
Complete documentation (Invoice and POD)
Capturing and printing of invoices daily
Scan processed invoices & proof of deliveries daily
Daily forwarding of proof of deliveries & invoices to our esteemed clientele
Ensure that all waybills are followed up where documents are not received
Other general administrative duties in line with the responsibilities of an Invoicing clerk
Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)
The suitable applicant will have:
A valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points)
2-3 years’ applied experience
Basic computer skills, knowledge in Parcel Perfect will be a distinct advantage
Attention to detail
Must be able to work accurately with figures
High regard for accuracy when capturing, costing, and invoicing of accounts Willingness to work overtime
Good problem-solving skills
High regard for honesty and integrity
Exceptional customer service background, presentable and good communication skills
Namibian Citizenship
