Accurate capturing of debtor’s deposits/transactions daily
Preparing and sending of statements and invoices daily / weekly/ monthly
Timeously collecting of debt and reconciliation of customer accounts
Responsible for processing of credit notes daily
Monthly loan account reconciliations
Ensure that age analysis is maintained daily
Other general administrative duties in line with the responsibilities of a Debtors Clerk

Any other duties required by Management

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

A valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points)
3-5 years’ applied experience
Basic computer skills, knowledge in Parcel Perfect will be a distinct advantage
Attention to detail, must have a flair for figures
High regard for accuracy when capturing payments on the system
Good command in verbal and written English
Attention to detail
Ability to work under immense pressure
Good problem-solving skills
High regard for honesty and integrity
Must have excellent leadership capabilities and customer relation skills
Open minded and a self-thinker
Must have Outlook and Excel knowledge
Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
Namibian Citizenship.

Above mentioned position is vacant at our Jet-X Couriers Windhoek Prosperita Depot. The F.P du Toit Transport Group is in existence since 1968 and diversified over time from a solely long-haul operation to one which now includes Jet-X Couriers (an express road and air courier service) Pro Parcel (a part-load distribution operation), and as well as Wesbank Transport (our newly acquired full-load and abnormal division). This is in line with our strategy to offer our clients a complete range of services to satisfy all their logistical requirements. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is based in Windhoek.
